San Pietro muore a Roma vittima
delle persecuzioni anticristiane di Nerone.
||The Santo Caliz is present in Rome.
During the first times of Christianity the only
person able to celebrate public Mass in Rome was the
Pope. All the Popes at that time used this chalice
as the true Chalice of Our Lord. They were
celebrating Mass with this Chalice, saying the words:
"Accipiens et HUNC PRAECLARUM CALICEM in sanctas
ac venerabiles manus suas...". Nobody knows who
moved the Holy Grail from Jerusalem to Rome,
probably St Peter or perhaps St Mark did (Eus. He,
III, 39, 16; Iren. Haer. III, 1, 1, etc). It could
have been moved to Rome when the Jerusalem Church
preponderance was over after the first Hebrew war.
||Sistus II (St Sistus), 24th Pope of
Roman Catholic Church, two days before his
martyrdom, grants the Holy Grail to his deacon, the
Spanish Laurence (St Laurence), with the mission to
put it in a safe place. Laurence orders two Spanish
soldiers to carry the Grail to his parents home at
Huesca (Aragon - Spain). There was a
painting in St Laurence's Basilica (Rome) where
was recorded the fact with this saint giving the
Grail to a Spanish soldier (Fresco San
Lorenzo fuori le mura, which exists in a
rather poor photo ). With the Holy Grail, Laurence
sent a letter --the definitive evidence !-- that
today is lost, but it was testified by King Martin
of Aragon (Parchment # 136 Martin's colect.--see
below). Pope S. Sistus II and deacon S. Laurence
were dramatically murdered by Valerianus' men.
